Ana Rodrigues is currently Boliden Mines Water Stewardship Coordinator. With over 17 years of experience in the mining industry, her background spans both consultancy and mining operations, where she has worked with extractive mine waste management, tailings and dam safety, and mine water management.

Her role focuses on internal governance practices development that support sustainable mining across the mine life cycle and strengthening of responsible water stewardship practices, integrating risk-based water management strategies that balance regulatory requirements, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.

Ana holds a degree in Applied Geology and Environment from the University of Lisbon and a Master degree in Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering from the Porto School of Engineering
