Dr Mark Keppel is a Principal Hydrogeologist, Government of South Australia, Department for Environment and Water, where he specialises in Far North groundwater as well as mining assessments. He served as a technical lead for the Far North Groundwater Modelling project, assisting the modelling team with conceptual model development and project management. In 2012, Mark completed a PhD at Flinders University on the geology and hydrochemistry of Great Artesian Basin Mound Springs in the Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre South region of South Australia.
