                                                    Nadia Haider is an experienced leader and geologist with over 15 years of experience in regulatory strategy, environmental management, and mining operations across North America. In her current role as Vice President of Regulatory Strategy, Innovation, and Environment at Conuma Resources Ltd., Nadia has spearheaded major regulatory approvals, award-winning environmental initiatives, and strategic projects, including mine expansions and acquisition of key assets. Nadia’s extensive experience spans both technical and executive roles, and she is recognized for her skill in bridging technical insights with effective leadership to drive results, and create high-performing teams.
 
With a foundation in field geology, Nadia began her career managing exploration programs, developing geological models for coal, nickel, copper and diamond projects across North America, Asia and Australia. Her technical expertise and practical field experience continue to inform her strategic insights and decision-making. Beyond her role at Conuma, Nadia serves as Vice Chair for the Mining Association of British Columbia, where she provides guidance on policy, environmental management, and mining innovation. Known for her collaborative and evidence-based approach, Nadia is passionate about fostering environmental progress and operational excellence in the mining industry. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring the mountains and rivers, and music, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to all aspects of her life.
