Global Water Stewardship Lead
Alexis leads WWF's global efforts on water stewardship. This role, hosted by WWF-Germany, involves supporting teams around the world and includes oversight on the Water Risk Filter (a leading tool allowing users to explore, assess, value and respond to water risk), supporting work on markets (including standards & certification), and guiding thinking on the value of water, and science-based water targets. From 2010-2015, he helped to establish the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) - specifically leading the multistakeholder development of a global water stewardship standard now recognized by hundreds of members. Since then, he has helped shape WWF's corporate water stewardship partnerships, regularly working with Global 500 companies to mitigate water risk in their operations and supply chains.
