Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that the Water in Mining Global Summit will take place on the unceded and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, who have cared for these lands and waters since time immemorial. We honor their enduring relationship with the land and invite all participants to learn more about their history, culture, and contributions.
