INTRODUCING THE AUSTRALIAN EDITION OF WATER IN MINING
In response to international audience demand, we're delighted to announce that Water in Mining is heading to Pan Pacific, Perth, Australia, 8-9 September 2026
With a bold mission to break down silos and drive genuine, lasting change in water stewardship, Water in Mining Australia will focus exclusively on the mining industry, bringing together technical experts, indigenous and community leaders and policymakers to tackle one of the sector’s most pressing challenges: responsible water use.
The programme will be designed in consultation with the Australian and regional mining community and positioned to accelerate the industry-wide adoption of holistic, catchment-based water governance frameworks, aligned with globally recognised stewardship standards.

Unlike multi-sector forums, the Water in Mining series is laser-focused on the technical, environmental and social complexities unique to mining. It’s intimate, purpose-built environment encourages deeper knowledge exchange and high-impact networking, building a committed, collaborative community that genuinely cares about driving change.
“This event offers more than dialogue—it’s about empowering mining professionals with practical strategies and new cross-sector partnerships that fundamentally change how operations interact with water resources. As the mining sector faces increasing pressure from investors, communities, and regulators to manage water sustainably, this event presents a timely opportunity to lead the change.”
